The evaluation board for AvancED reaccredited the University of Puerto Rico’s (UPR) for five more years. They also referred to it as “a loving, learning community.”
The president of the Brotherhood of Exempt Employees No Teachers (Heend), Janell M. Santana, said that the university’s employees are the ones who should be credited for the UPR’s reaccreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), not the governor or the University’s administration.
